If you're participating in the 21 Day Lower Blood Sugar Challenge, the daily check ins will be posted each day.

Although we encourage you to monitor your blood sugar levels and report, if you’re not doing that, you can also report:

  • your food diary
  • a meal
  • ask a question
  • share a struggle
  • or simply say: ‘hi, I’m checking in for the day.’

The idea is, we want you to get involved and participate as much as possible, for the entire 21 day

Just scroll right down to the bottom and enter your numbers/comments in the comment box, then click on ‘post comment.'

NOTE: If you check the box, ‘Notify me of followup comments via e-mail,' you will receive all the follow up comments for the days check in. Since there are often a lot of follow up comments, be prepared to receive many emails. You can unsubscribe from the check in follow up emails if you choose – look for the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the check in follow up emails. If you do not wish to subscribe, and avoid receiving all the emails (recommended), you can simply check back here and read through the comments and replies.

Checking in on day 11. I’ve had a rough 24 hrs. First time ever I used the wrong insulin pen and injected myself at bedtime with 40 units of fast acting……so pretty much I was up all night dealing with that and then with hardly any sleep last night I have had 2 panic attacks today so hopefully after some good sleep tonight I should be back on track tomorrow.

    Day 11 checking in
    7.4 before lunch
My food choices were off today. Pea soup for breakfast and half cup yogurt.
Lunch was rice crackers and cream cheese and an apple. Ice cream too. 🥴
Then we raked leaves and after that I had no desire to prepare a meal. Found a home made chicken pot pie in the freezer so we had that with cole slaw. I am waiting for the OAS to come in to do some grocery shopping. Veggies.

Interesting diet Irida. I find it hard to drink a lot of water but it obviously works.
I wonder what the dieticians think of your diet. Think l’ll try it
