Sounds like a yummy day Rhonda. Thanks for checking in!
BS of 134 this morning, with a doctor visit and result of my A1C of 5.7. For the past year I have been staying just under 100 carbs per day and a year ago BS was 11.1. Also learned to manage portion control as well and workout 3 days a week and walk 7,000 to 10,000 steps
I took this challenge to try to find different recipes and help with lowering the morning numbers. And I have learned a few things I didnt know as well as ideas for lowering the morning, which may be a slow process, since I am having problems taking the apple cider vinegar in the evening.
Awesome work Sharon! Thanks sharing and I am glad that you have found the challenge to be beneficial.
Day 18
Morning BS 134 and after an especially hard workout today at noon, this afternoon ,had a BS 86, but now up to 120 bfore dinner. Dinner is a presssure cooked pork chop with steamed vegies.

FBS 118. Best it’s been.
Great! Thanks for checking in Rhoda.
Checking in with a question! When is a good time to take supplements Luke cinnamon, fish oil, turmeric, chromium, etc.? In the morning before a meal? At night time before bed? I take in morning with protein drink so just wondering if that is when I’ll get the most benefits!
Hi Celeste, it depends on the supplement but usually with meals is best. Time of day really does not matter.
Checking in Day 18 I seemed to have settled again. 7.0 2 hours after meal and about 80 carbs during day.
If I can stay at this level I am happy with this. Maybe not as strict as you would have wished I struggle to get below 70 carbs in a day. I think I will try this again after Christmas it will give me a boost to keep trying and maybe even get better readings.
Thanks for checking in Sharon. You want to do what works best or you! If you are seeing improvements with what you are doing now then keep at it. : )
Day 18
Morning bs 8.0
Thanks for checking in Marlene.
Day 18 checking in BS 150 wake up number. I am eating more veggies at all meals I hope this helps. Im glad holiday is over.
Hi Norma, that is great you are eating more veggies! Thanks for checking in.
Checking in. Today I started in on my pantry, checking the carb count and setting aside the higher carb options to donate to the food pantry. My most difficult but most rewarding moment-putting a half full container of spice drops in the trash without eating even one! There are healthier and more enjoyable ways to eat 25 carbs than in 7 spice drops!
YES – fabulous Rose. Getting those foods out of the house is the best strategy to implement. 👏 Thanks for checking in!
Checking in on the 18 day. MORNING zBS. 5.8
Where will l find the answer to day 16 questions?
