Turkey ‘Slow Cooked' Meatballs
You'll thoroughly enjoy the savory moist cheese filled meatballs that couple perfectly with the tomato sauce and slight crunch of low carb cabbage rice.

Ingredients
  • 17.6oz ground turkey mince
  • 2teaspoon dried oregano
  • 114oz (400g) canned diced tomatoes– (no added salt)
  • 1.7oz Parmesan cheese– equiv. 1/2 cup
  • 21oz green cabbage– shredded into rice chunks
Instructions
  1. Pour the canned tomatoes in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground turkey, oregano, and half the parmesan cheese. Roll into balls and place them into the slow cooker as you roll them.
  3. Put slow cooker on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Heat a large pan with a little olive oil and fry up the cabbage until cooked to your desire – either crispy or soft.
  5. Serve the turkey meatballs on top of the cabbage rice. And eat the leftovers the next day!
