Beef isn’t one of my favorite meats. Being a previous vegetarian for many years, the thought of sitting down to a huge steak still isn’t very appealing. ;)

But there are ways to eat beef that are super tasty, like the tasty low carb beef dishes below.

Beef can tend to be a more expensive meat too, so I tend to use the cheaper options, which still cook up very well.

I tend to go for ground beef mince – always a cost effective option. I use beef rump steaks – also a cost effective option – and I slice the steaks into strips for stir fries and so forth. And, for casseroles or crockpot dishes I use gravy beef or any kind of cheaper diced beef.

1. 15 Min Low Carb Beef Goulash

This is a super fast Beef Goulash type dish that can be cooked in about 15 minutes, 20 at the most (if you’re slow) – using the rice alternative, cauliflower rice. It’s tasty and filling and is sure to please everyone in the house!

2. Chili Beef Crockpot or Casserole

This chili beef recipe can be made in both the crockpot or as a casserole. And best of all it’s a freezer meal too.

I LOVE my crockpot. It’s been a savior for getting meals on the table in those busy times. Casseroles are great too. I call them ‘set and forget’ (just remember the timer!), because you put it in and then forget about it until it’s done.

3. Low Carb Sweet Beef Satay

Beef with peanut butter seemed like an odd mix before I made this dish but it really works well.

This meal is incredibly easy to make, prep time just 5 minutes and cook it up in about 10 minutes. It’s served solely with the Asian greens and I’d say that’s the perfect way to eat it.

4. Spicy Beef Fajita

There’s nothing quite like a collection of fresh ingredients served in bowls where you can get your hands dirty. Meals like this are always fun. :)

Using a blend of spicy ground beef, caramelized onions, tomatoes, carrots, and avocado dip, this meal is thoroughly enjoyable.
