If you’re following a low carb diet, you don’t have to eat low carb low fat snacks.
It’s a natural consequence of reducing carbs that you would increase fat intake, along with increasing protein a bit too.
However, if there is a drive to eat low fat snacks, here are 10 great healthy options.
1. Snack La’ Fresh
It’s always refreshing to chow down on a variety of freshly cut vegetables. Choose any vegetables and much away at your pleasure.

2. Cucumber Crackers
Slice up cucumber as a replacement for crackers. For a low fat version, skip the cheese and avocado or nuts. Instead, top your crackers with tomato and a few chicken strips.

3. Fresh Strawberries or Berries
A small portion of fresh berries—strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries—makes a sweet and satisfying treat.

4. Dips & Veg
There are many store-bought low carb, low fat dips you can get to pair with some fresh veggie dipping sticks. Try a ranch, hummus, tzatziki, beetroot or yogurt-based dip. Or, make your own homemade dip.

Wrap up some cucumber rolls by slicing thin cucumber, topping with some avocado or a dip, along with alfalfa. Roll up for a fancy option.

Baked cauliflower is delicious. For extra flavor add some curry powder or Cajun seasoning. Keep a big container full and grab a snack when you need it.

Protein satisfies the appetite, so try cooking up some parcel baked chicken to keep in the fridge. You can pre-slice it and just grab a piece when you’re hungry. Spread a bit of low carb low fat dip over the top for extra flavor.

Olives do contain some fat, but it’s not that much and it’s all super heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. About 6 per serve is all you need to fill the gap.

Crispy, salty, munchy – that’s all you want out of a chip. Thankfully there is a way to have low carb low fat chips, and it all comes down to kale. Okay, kale as a cooked veggie is not everyone’s favorite, but baking it until crisp might just surprise you so please give it a try.
