Thanks so much for all of your help and resources you made available for this challenge! It gives me knowledge to keep striving for better numbers! My current A1C is 6.2. Iโve been below 6 a couple of times, but Iโd like to get there and stay there. Iโm still working on that elusive morning blood sugar! Thanks again for all the resources! I also love all the meal plans and recipes available here!

Iโm back to making my own almond meal bread and cake which I did last night and so happy I joined in. I was doing ok before but the constant support and understanding that some of the others are having it tougher than me, helped me through days when I had a few hiccups. Thanks again. Will keep checking on new ideas and meals. Regards Cherryl.

Thank You for all the info, Iโll be reading over it a few more times Iโm sure. I was getting used to my morning readings of over the high 130โs to over 160. This morning it was 117, twice!!!!! (I thought I was still sleeping and did it wrong) ๐.
Again, Thank You for all the info and Iโll keep trucking along with it!!!

Fidelles
Checking in day 21. Doing this challenge has been an enlightening experience. I have gained a much better understanding of what Iโm dealing with and where I am. Giving up potatoes has been easy-cauliflower is a wonderful substitute- but giving up bread much much harder. But Iโm going to stick with this. Definitely worth it! Thank you!
Malorie: Dietitian (MS, RD, CLT)
So worth it Fidelles! Thanks for sticking with us and keep up the hard work.

Day 21 check in
Morning bs 6.7
Thanks for challenging us again. I lost no weight but have lost my appetite for bread. Donโt need it. Can live without it. I am toying with the idea of cutting back on meat in my diet. I figure if there is no meat on my plate I would be forced to take the veggie route. I see an endocrinologist in a week about the calcium in my blood. I am thinking they will also address my prediabetic status. Thanks for bumping up my knowledge of this wretched disease.
Malorie: Dietitian (MS, RD, CLT)
Knowledge is power Marlene! Thanks for joining us and I hope all goes well for you as you continue your journey.

TRACY
TRACY, VERY INFORMATIVE AND SUPPORTIVE CHALLENGE . I LEARN THAT I NEED TO REDUCED CARBS MORE SO TO GET MY GLUCOSE READING DOWN I STILL LIKE TO EAT SOME CARBS LIKE PASTA AND PANCAKES AND THEY BOTH RAISE MY SUGAR .SO I NEED TO SUBSTITUTE TO USING CAULIFLOWER RICE OR ZUCCHINI NOODLES. I FOUND BREAD THAT HAS VERY LOW CARBS COUNT TO EAT . SO THAT IS THE ONLY BREAD I USE AND COUNT THE CARBS IN TO MY MEALS . I ALSO THINK PLANNING OUT WHAT TO EAT WOULD HELP ME BETTER . I DO DINNER PLANING FOR THE WEEK . BUT I DO NOT PLAN OUT MY LUNCHES OR SNACKS AND THAT CAUSES ME TO HAVE HIGHER READING . THANK YOU FOR OFFERING THIS FREE CHALLENGE IT WAS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE
