raani
I’ve been vegetarian for many years. Raised 2 children as vegetarians. (what they do now is up to them.
As for me…I’ve been impressed by your presentation and vast knowledge. Also very grateful I finally found you. Like a lot of people my Dr. told me I was diabetic he offered me a 2 page print out and left me to figure it all out. Thanks to your and your team.
I would like to know where or how one figures out the gram or carbo counting. Please tell me how to do that. Also what about showing how to use the 2 diary logs that came with the package I downloaded.
Also help me figure out the garbanzo (chick pea) flour. I use them a lot to make crepes and usually eat them with yogurt/curd.
Thanks again

Glad you found us too Raani, and yes, unfortunately that is a common story about Drs. The medical system is not really directed to health and prevention. You can use a site such as cronometer or fatsecret to search thousands of types of foods and their nutrition facts. Many people don’t count specifically and if you stick to the recommended food list, you generally don’t need to. But, it can be a good exercise for a while so you know your foods and the quantities etc.
We will have further info on blood sugar and the logs in the next couple of days, thanks for your patience. We don’t want to overwhelm you with too much all at once. 🙂 Chickpea flour is considered a moderate carb option and is best consumed in small portions. Depending on brand, 1/4 cup can range from 13-18g of carbs.
