2. Best Pasta For Diabetics
We ALL love pasta, right?!
It’s just one of those foods that is such a comfort food. I know for me it’s always been like that BUT I also know that because it is such a comfort food it is VERY easy to over eat it!
Seriously…I know there have been times in the past when I’ve eaten an enormous bowl and still gone back for more. Sound familiar?
When you’re diabetic it’s not really possible to eat an enormous bowl of pasta because you will soon see your blood sugar sky rocketing. And even if you’re not diabetic, you will soon see those pounds stacking on if you over consume the carbs!

Kathy
Hi Jedha. Pretty name! I enjoy your tips on controlling carb intake. I started out with a A1c of 12 and a 350 blood sugar! In 2 weeks I got the A1c down to 10. I got down to 9 about a month later. I know it is still way too high. My bs has finally gotten below 120 the last 3 days. I can’t seem to lose much weight though. It seems like when I have carbs the blood sugar goes down??? Are the carbs affecting immediately or a couple days later? Thanks, Kath
Jedha
Interesting Kathy, your blood sugar goes down with carb? That’s not common. Carbs will influence immediate blood sugar, along with A1C over the long term.
