1. Wilma Completely Turned Her Life Around

Wilma shares her experience of losing 52 pounds (~24kg), drastically lowering her blood sugar levels from 22s (396 mg/dl) down to 7s (140 mg/dl), and finding a positive way forward in life.

2. ALL of Susan’s Health Metrics Improve

It started with a phone call from my doctor’s office saying those dreaded words: “Based on your A1C of 8.0 you have full blown diabetes. I’ll send in a prescription for Metformin.” I did not want to use pharmaceuticals to address what many publications call a ‘lifestyle disease.’ A quick review of available support groups online and I found DMP. Immediately I was impressed with the qualifications of the team and the easy to understand information. I joined the VIP group.

My first A1c reading was 8.0, four months later, I had reduced to 7.2. Another four months later, I was down to 6.8!! My weight has dropped from 197 pounds to 173 (I’m 5’4”). That’s 24 pounds (10.8kg). My blood pressure was 149/98 and at my latest check-up, I posted 112/79. Cholesterol was 233, now 212, but the big winner was triglycerides at 413 (!) now 154. Best of all I feel empowered!  I took control of my life and with the support of the DMP experts. This is a lifestyle change that has affected many of my health metrics. I won’t go back to my ‘head in the sand’ life.

3. Dean Puts Type 2 Diabetes in Remission, Even After 20 Years!

Dean first took the T2Diet Program – our 16 week proven nutrition program. Here’s what Dean had to say.

Later, Dean continued on to use the VIP Membership and after living with type 2 diabetes for over 20 years, he successfully lowered his A1c, got off medications, and completely transformed his relationship with food—all through the DMP program.

Dean’s journey is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to take control of your health. Dean’s journey wasn’t straightforward, but he worked toward improving his numbers and health and was able to keep his A1c levels at 6% and get off all medications.

4. James’ A1c down 1.1% in 3 months

I am a 73 year old retired teacher. I have had diabetes now for six years. I have struggled with numbers with regard to A1c since first diagnosed. I have been on metformin for the last four years. I have tried a variety of food choices and diets to combat the problem. All the while, my numbers continued to creep up and I have been labeled “uncontrolled diabetic.”

My physician wanted to increase my medications to help lower my A1c. When I got an email offer regarding DMPs diet program, I thought why not give it a try. My blood sugar ran around 260 to 280 (14.4 to 15.6) — now it averages around 160 (8.9). My A1c has gone from 8.3 to 7.2 in just three months – down 1.1%! Weight has gone from 178 to 169 (80.7 – 76.6 kg). All other numbers are good. Best of all, I have more energy and I look forward to doing things. I highly recommend DMP as a good step to getting a handle on diabetes.

5. John Lowered A1c by 3%

John came into the program to learn more about the impact of diet on his diabetes health. He followed the weekly nutrition modules in the T2Diet Program and discovered the connection between diet and blood sugar levels.

6. Helen Finally Achieves Successful Weight Loss

Helen struggled for a long time with achieving weight loss and wasn’t getting any support from other sources.

7. Leisa Lowers Blood Sugar from 300’s to Normal in 30 days!

I started checking my blood glucose and it was running between 275 and 325 (15.3 and 18.1)! I knew then I was in trouble and could no longer pretend everything was okay. I don’t want to waste one more minute of my life being sick, tired and miserable. So I started looking online to research and stumbled upon the DMP website and took the 30 Day Turnaround Program. And, I’m so glad I did!

Now my blood glucose ranges are between 96 (5.3) pre-meal and 145 (8.1) post meal! My weight has gone from 240 pounds (108kg) to 205.4 pounds (93.1kg) now!!! My advice is just DO IT!!! If I can, anyone can.

8. Sheryl’s Life-Changing Results Maintained 4 Years on

I “happened” onto the Diabetes Meal Plans site when I was browsing the internet for something that I could try, something that would make sense. Once I became a member, I immersed myself into the information. I learned that my present diet wasn’t working because I was trying to prevent diabetes, not treat the disease I already had! My weight dropped 6 pounds (2.7kg), and my A1C dropped to 5.8! This was an all-time low for me. Best of all, my doctor reduced my daily amounts of metformin and glipizide by half: The same tablets one time daily!

Fast forward 4 years: I continue to do well! At 70 years old, my HbA1C continues to be under control. My cholesterol continues to be controlled. I maintain lower medication.

9. Tony loses 30 pounds and lowers A1C

I knew that in order to control my blood sugar, I was going to have to create my own meals more. And thankfully, that has happened with DMP! Joining as a member has got me motivated to cook and try new things.

My A1C was around 7.5. But, I wasn’t doing any work myself. Instead, I was letting the medication I was taking do the heavy lifting – Metformin and Glipizide. After looking after myself I have been able to get my A1C back down to 6.5, and have sustained this for a number of months now. My morning numbers have gone from the 160’s to the 120’s (8.9 to 6.7). And I have also managed to lose 30 pounds (13.6kg). So much valuable information. DMP is a lifesaver!

10. Carin’s Finds a Renewed Way of Living

I have had diabetes for many years, but I was feeling stuck – I was tired of the foods I was eating, using the same old recipes, and didn’t want to put forth the effort into making meal plans. I began to fall back into old habits of junky eating, slipping in a sweet here and there, and high carb meals “just this once” and pretty soon it was every day. The rut I was in was holding me back and I was starting to feel sluggish. Quite frankly, I was tired of having diabetes and always having to watch what I eat and not enjoy it! My A1C reached 8.1, and I knew something needed to change.

As I was looking for new recipes and meal ideas on the internet, I came across DMP and started reading testimonials and decided to join as a member. I needed some serious guidance on food nutrition and found the educational pieces each week to be helpful and the encouraging news I needed. After joining DMP, I was able to get my A1C down from 8.1 to 6.4 in a matter of a few months and lost 15 pounds (6.8kg). My fasting blood sugars were ranging from 150-180 (8.3-10.0) and now they are between 90-130 (5.0-7.2).

The wealth of educational material has been a game-changer for me and the food is creative and delicious. I have many go-to recipes now that are easy to make and I enjoy trying new ones each week. 11. Geraldine Returns Glucose to Normal in 3 Months

I can’t thank you enough for your dedication to helping people like me. A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed as prediabetic, but I didn’t take it seriously at the time. I continued drinking alcohol (in moderation-ish) and eating far too much sugar. Then, I was told that I had crossed the threshold, with an A1c number of 48 (6.5%). That’s when I finally panicked, big time!!

I joined as a member and fast forward three months, I got my latest results and I can hardly believe it – my number is now 41 (5.9%), back in the normal range, not even pre diabetic (UK-based numbers)! 12. JoAnn’s A1c Normal, Down 50 Pounds
